Docked mode overlays the page from the right and stays out of Firefox's sidebar switcher. Drag its left edge to resize. Browser-internal pages like about: and the PDF viewer can't host it, so scAI falls back to the sidebar there.
Off, scAI sends just the main article and skips navigation, footers and sidebars. On, it sends everything the page renders — more complete, more tokens, more noise.
